Who: Anyone! Our meetings are open to the public...all ages are welcome! What: Our meetings generally focus on hearing loss, ways to manage our hearing loss, and learning about self-advocacy. We often have guest speakers in addition to rap sessions, where we have a topic that our group discusses at the meeting. Where: Community Center (2nd floor) of the GIANT Food Store, 3301 E Trindle Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011. We are also still offering the option of meeting virtually via Zoom. Why: You are not alone! Attending the meetings is not only educational, but it can also be beneficial for social connections. You do not have to have hearing loss to gain something from our meetings. Perhaps you have a loved one with hearing loss, or maybe you think you may have hearing loss but don't know where to start. Maybe you're just looking for a way to help support and be more understanding of people around you with hearing loss. Whatever the reason, there is always something that can be gained from the meetings. How: Afraid you won't be able to hear at the meeting? Don't worry! Our meetings are captioned in real-time.
